Yes, they are giving you RM150 (Malaysia currency, Ringgit Malaysia). If you applied for Standard Charted Bank platinum credit card, they going to give you RM150. RM50 is actually for the credit card tax (Thanks to Najib :( ), but you still have RM100 to spend. Not much money for nowadays but consider that you can take 15 times of McD value lunch (RM6.30 each, including tax) and still left RM5.50. Not bad huh!

You will get RM70 if you get credit card other than platinum, I think. You will not get this offer when you apply through the bank's branches. Go to shopping mall now, find those credit card promoters.
